Robbery Being the victim of a robbery can have unpleasant practical and emotional consequences; fortunately information, support and practical assistance can help alleviate the impact. Victims of robbery experience theft of property combined with violence or the threat of violence. It is this combination of theft and assault, whether threatened or actual, that makes the crime of robbery such a distressing experience.
